Health Care

  • Leverage my experience as a clinical psychologist to raise awareness that mental health issues are economic issues. Increase support, programs, access, and funding for quality mental/behavioral health programs and providers in our district.

  • Educate how issues such as stress, addiction, depression, anxiety, suicidality, loneliness and trauma are bipartisan concerns that affect all areas of life and every family.

  • Work directly with existing programs such as the CO Behavioral Health Administration and Colorado Lifts Program to identify resources and services for all CD4 residents.

  • Advocate for affordable and accessible health care for all CD4 residents. Especially low-income individuals and families and those residing in rural areas.

  • Protect Medicare and Medicaid. Work to reinstate aspects of this programs that were eliminated for the “Big Beautiful Bill,” that harm our residents and rural hospitals.

  • Support funding to keep our rural hospitals operational.

  • Support funding for scientific research and innovation to both prevent and cure major illnesses.

  • Ensure women maintain the ability to make decisions about their own health care.

  • Monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of the Defense Health Agency [DHA].
